凭借着我们设计豪华别墅的丰富经验及对于利用陡峭和复杂地形的专业知识,Original Vision 受聘为这坐落于山坡上的度假村进行总体规划。对于处理此类难度较大的斜坡地形,成功的关键在于有效率地、系统性地善用地形。进出方便与否也是重要的考虑因素。构建一道既舒适又安全、同时尽可能占用最少地面空间的道路系统,完全体现了建筑的艺术。土地运用得宜及多角度扩阔景观的设计方针与道路规划并肩而行。借助大量电脑及实体模型作设计辅助,最终我们设计了一个非常简洁及符合地形的道路系统,让每一间别墅都能享有一览无遗的壮丽海景。
Original Vision were engaged to master plan this exciting hillside villa resort due to our extensive portfolio of designing luxury villa destinations and our expertise in making the most out of steep and complicated sites. Efficiency is the key to success with such difficult sloping sites and access is the main consideration; where crafting the road system so as to make it comfortable and safe whilst using as little land as possible is an art form. Tied in with the roads is the land planning and maximisation of the views. With the aid of extensive computer and physical modelling we have managed to create very clean and topographically sympathetic roads that provide every villa with completely unobstructed ocean views.

作为一名建筑师,能够参与总体规划、建筑设计,并在室内设计上添加细节、丰富当中的设计理念,能带来莫大的成就感。中国南部沿海的小径湾项目开发商「华润」,希望应用我们的全套设计服务于其日益复杂之目标市场上,因此Original Vision有幸参与了项目的整个过程。这种安排令我们能够实现设计的连贯性,令室内设计与建筑相互呼应。为简约的线条赋予温暖和质感,并充分突显度假村置身于海滨的感觉。
Master Plan
As an architect it is very gratifying being involved with the Master Planning, Architectural Design and then adding the flesh to the bones with Interior Design. China Resources, the developer of our Skyline Villa project on the south coast of China wanted to take our full package of design to their increasingly sophisticated market so Original Vision was granted the privilege of doing just that. Such an arrangement provides us with the opportunity of design continuity thus the Interiors have been developed to reflect the architecture and bring warmth and texture to the minimalist lines and enhance the sense of being on the waterfront.
总体规划的设计特点
总体规划包含了所有可用的资源和自然特征,如蜿蜒的低谷,起伏的山坡地形和广阔的海景。设计与这些自然特征紧密结合,从而产生一个完整的总体规划,并在建筑和景观之间产生密切的协同作用。
Master Plan Design Features
The master planning embraces all the available resources and natural features such as meandering low lying valleys, undulating hillside topography and expansive ocean views. The design is closely integrated with these natural features so as to produce a master plan of integrity and a close synergy between the architecture and the landscape.

Utilizing our extensive experience of designing hillside villa resorts, the Master Plan has been designed to provide every villa with clear and unobstructed ocean views as well as privacy from neighbors. This has been achieved whilst minimizing the amount of land and civil engineering necessary for the road network required. Driving or walking on the lush and quiet winding mountain roads, the varied height and massing of the streetscape embodies a harmonious blending of architecture and the natural landscape. The villas themselves are delivered with individually outstanding designs and unique style, giving a wonderful leisure and resort experience.

The main Master Planning feature of the project is the careful use of the terrain that ranges from 3 to 120 meters above sea level and is accentuated along its length with ridges and valleys. The slopes face South-East and offer a fascinating view of Xiaojing Bay with a deep valley naturally forming the northern boundary. It was this feature, unsuitable for villas, that was used to create the main winding road that starts at the main entrance and rises to the highest level.

This unique hilly natural environment provided great opportunities for the design of villas where they are set into the slope allowing the surrounding land to be used as garden space and provides harmony between the architecture and the landscape. It also has the added benefit of reducing the visual impact of the development from afar.

Recognising Original Vision’s abundant experience in designing luxury villas in hillsides resort locations, China Resources asked us to bring that magic to Xiaojing Bay. Capitalising on the efficient distribution system designed in our Master Planning stage, our principal objective has been to take the fullest advantage of the stunning sea views. Although there are many different villa types available, this guiding force has influenced the crafting of each with the result being a family of cascading architectural gems with breathtaking features.
建筑设计特点

Architecture Design Features
Xiaojing Bay Skyline Villa Project is generally focused on creating a relaxing, resort-like environment, indoor and outdoor space integrated and appearing to grow out of the natural landscape. Different villas have different layouts and design features, ranging from the smaller Townhouse and Duplex villa types to the larger Periscope villa type all benchmarking a range of different needs. Almost all villas are provided with private swimming pools, terraces and gardens. The design philosophy focuses on clean and uncomplicated space paying homage to the view. Maximizing the view to the white sand beach and the ocean beyond creates a contemporary tropical resort life style experience. Every unit has an unobstructed sea view and the villas are well integrated with the site and with nature. Hearing the waves from the sea and being set within the wonderful beach environment form a beautiful scene of “Utopia”. Passive environmental design is achieved through building orientation, insulations and architectural forms. By harnessing natural ventilation with generous ratios of windows to wall and combined with energy-saving glazing systems and louvers we have created very pleasant living environments. By making full use of the dynamic topography and developing sensitive architecture the villas integrate into the hillside climb along the contours providing stunning sea views along with good natural ventilation to each unit.
悬挑花园中心

Hanging Garden Center
Embedded into the hillside, the Hanging Garden Center is a spacious and comfortable community gathering point that blends seamlessly with the cascading landscaped gardens. The minimalist design with limited variation of materials creates a clean, coordinated statement and a very intriguing aesthetic that at the same time reduces the visual impact. A glass box entrance on the upper floor creates a dramatic arrival and makes the most of the stunning ocean view. Descending one level, whilst continually celebrating the majestic outlook, the Bar and Book Lounge open out onto the wide terrace with infinity edge pond reflecting ocean and sky and amplifying the resort style of this hillside residence development.”

Duplex Villas
The Duplex Villas are designed as a striking Architectural composition. A series of bold forms provide stepped external terraces and gardens for the upper Residences and help reduce the overall mass. The combined elements of building and landscape appear to cascade down the hillside.

Valley Duplex Villas
The Valley Duplex units are a series of 4 storey high blocks containing 2 units either side of an open staircase, which appear to ‘cascade’ down through the landscape. A series of stepped terraces with plunge pools project.

Townhouse Villas
The Townhouse Villas are defined by their close proximity to the ocean and the stunning view afforded from the brightly lit atrium that is open onto a the generous living and dining space and outdoor terrace. With the master bedroom on the upper floor and two additional bedrooms below the living area this is the perfect design for a young family.
