设计师为客户（已婚夫妇和他们的两个孩子）设计了一个房子，其形状像一个旗杆，周围是爱媛市今治市的邻居的房子。

We planned the house for a client family (married couple and their two children) at the site whose shape is like a flagstaff and surrounded by neighbor’s house in Imabari-City Ehime.

设计的大屋顶就像一条柔软的披肩，轻柔地覆盖在房屋上，以确保良好的通风和采光，同时保证客户的隐私。

We designed the big roof which is like a soft shawl which gently covers the house to ensure good ventilation and lighting with simultaneously keeping client’s privacy.

披肩式屋顶将起居室、茶室和停车空间流畅地连接起来。从起居室客户家庭不仅可以看到内部花园，还可以看到大屋顶上宽阔的梅林。

The shawl roof smoothly connects living ridge, tea room and parking space. From the living client family can see not only the inner garden but also the broad plum grove over the big roof.

披肩屋顶形成了三个外部空间，即内花园、点花园和露台，三个空间使屋内和屋外的关系变得非常亲密，提供了一个很好的开放性和宽阔感，客户家庭可以感觉到房子内部的大小比实际大，此外，客户家庭可以很容易地有更多的目光接触，并在同一屋檐下有更多的交流和更好的生活。

The shawl roof makes three outside space that is inner garden, spot garden and terrace. The three spaces make relation between inside and outside of the house so intimate. It provides a good sense of openness and broadness and client family can feel size of inside the house larger than real. In addition client family can easily have much more eye contact each other and much communication and better life together under the same roof.

夏天，披肩屋面可以阻挡强烈的阳光，并引入凉爽的空气；在冬季，披肩屋顶可以将阳光吸收并储存到土层中，以获得直接的收益。

In summer the shawl roof cuts strong sunshine and entrain cool air. In winter the shawl roof entrain sunshine and store it into the earthen floor to get direct gain.
