Elliptic House is the result of a concept based on a geometric shape and a simple volume, sculpted by the site, the surrounding area and the horizon.

在虚实之间、轻盈与沉重之间、光线和阴影之间寻求平衡：物体和它的反射。这是一种真实与想象、虚实空间之间的关系，这意味着这样一个独特的地方可以被充分欣赏和享受，所有这些因素完成了项目的全部概念。

A balance was sought between fullness and emptiness, weight and airiness, light and shade: the object and its reflection. It is a relationship between the real and the imagined, between physical and virtual spaces, which means such a unique place can be fully appreciated and enjoyed. All these factors complete the geometric matrix that the project is based on.

With its curved forms, the house is deliberately sculptural and organic. It is shaped by the wind and the sun, by the natural outline of the cliffs and by the sea that wants to embrace the wide floating oval which curves round the central patio of the house.

The house has a unique design of an ellipse. It is on two floors, above the entry level, with most of the living area on the ground floor. The entrance hall is central and open, with direct access to all areas. From there, the water surface leads the eye and merges visually with the vastness of the sea which dominates the horizon. The living area continues to an outside patio, framed by the emptiness of the ellipse which gives the house its shape.

The outdoor terraces, paved or landscaped, are at various levels and seem to disappear into the garden. And so the interior flows out to the patios and the terraces and into the surrounding vegetation, which in turn blends into the Mediterranean landscape. It is in this ambience that the house should be experienced, where the house has no beginning and no ending. The fluidity and lightness of its organic design reflects natural shapes, thus defining the house architecturally in its natural setting.
