São Paulo, december 2020. Metro arquitectos signs a residency extension project in Ibiúna. The project consisted of creating a leisure area and an apartment associated with a house located on a large plot on the banks of the dam for a couple who live between São Paulo and London.

Associating new volumes and taking advantage of underutilized spaces of the construction made in the nineties, we created a spa next to the pool, with sauna, hot tub, indoor pool and a contemplation patio.

Using concrete, wood and glass the surroundings of the existing pool were reorganized, providing leisure use with privacy by the garden.

In an unoccupied area, a complete apartment was installed, with kitchen, fireplace and bedroom. Illuminated and ventilated by a large skylight, the room is divided by a curtain.

All spaces allow you to enjoy privacy in relation to other environments in the house, without losing your relationship with the gardens and the natural views of the surroundings.
