这个非同寻常的住宅群建在奥波莱附近的一个波兰小村庄里。客户是一对商人夫妇，他们的生活一直很匆忙，经常出差，当他们回到家中时，他们希望能在其中得到宁静和放松。

This extraordinary residential complex was built in a small Polish village near Opole. Its inhabitants, a couple of businessmen live in a constant hurry and travel frequently. When they come back home, they look for peace and relaxation in it.

原本他们只打算在父母的房子里增加一个客厅，在与建筑师Maciek Rempalski进行了几次会谈后，他们清楚地意识到，这对职业活跃的夫妇需要一个新的、现代化的家，这个家将是一个自给自足的休闲绿洲，同时拥有完全的自由和隐私。这就是建筑的由来。

Originally, they only planned to add a living room to their parents' house. After a few talks with the architect Maciek Rempalski, it became clear that the professionally active couple needed a new, modern home. A home that will be a self-sufficient oasis of relaxation. Luxury at the highest level with complete freedom and privacy at the same time. This is how the design of an independent, impressive building was created from a small reconstruction.

One of the main assumptions of investors, the creation of privacy determined both the arrangement of the building as well as its shape and form. It has become an extremely important element of the design process. By designing the building on an irregular plan, the residential area was separated from the public road. However, the most important thing was to direct the front of the building to the beautiful landscape surrounding it and full exposure to the sun. Finally, a layout resembling the letter "U" with an open courtyard was created. From the side of the road, the house is surrounded by a silencing "fence" made of planks. Large glazing appears in the facade from the garden. Thanks to this, the day zone opens to the beautiful greenery surrounding the house. Nature enters the interior of the house. Both these spaces seem to interpenetrate, harmonize and create a homogeneous whole. There are no boundaries between natural beauty and the beauty created by an architect.

Dom pod Lasem has two floors. The bedroom located on the first floor has been "suspended" above the terrace, becoming its natural roof. "The main body of the building with a gable roof, the form and dimensions refer to the pre-war country houses in the Opole area," houses without eaves "- says Maciej Rempalski. The folk and traditional style has been broken with carefully selected finishing materials. Particular emphasis was also placed on the simple and smooth form of the building as a whole. Thanks to this, a modern character was obtained, which leaves no doubt that the house was built today.

周围的针叶林是修饰建筑外立面的直接灵感来源，部分立面由西伯利亚云杉制成的垂直板覆盖。建筑师Maciek Rempalski戏称这是一个 "条形码"。提到周围的树木，实际上是为了保护居民的隐私。建筑的中央部分在视觉上类似于一个经典的谷仓。与玻璃和木材形成对比的是，它被石头所覆盖。光滑的表面与珍贵的板岩完美地强调了建筑的几何形状。此外，它还表明，劈开的石头并不总是必须看起来传统、标准和无聊。

The coniferous forest surrounding it was the direct inspiration for finishing the facade of the building. Part of the elevation is covered with vertical boards made of Siberian spruce. Architect Maciek Rempalski jokingly called it a "barcode". The reference to the surrounding trees was used in practice to protect the privacy of the residents. The central part of the building visually resembles a classic barn. In contrast to the glass and wood it was covered with stone. A smooth finish with precious slate perfectly underlines the geometric shape of the building. Additionally, it shows that split stone doesn’t always have to look traditional, standard and boring.
