Bangna, a strategic district in Bangkok, now serves as a crucial logistic link to Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor. AIA East Gateway pioneers the transformation of Bangna from a landscape dominated by mundane office towers along dusty roads into a lively, dynamic, and welcoming workplace.

AIA East Gateway 挑战了传统的办公楼规范，迎接来客的不再是空旷的广场，而是一个水上花园——这个巨大的生物滞留池在调节水位的同时促进生物多样性。它解决了Bangna因其位于海平面以下而容易遭受洪水的问题，集功能和美观于一体。

Challenging conventional office tower norms, AIA East Gateway greets occupants not with an empty plaza but a water garden—a sizable bioretention pond that regulates water levels, prevents flooding, and fosters biodiversity. The project addresses Bangna's vulnerability to floods due to its below-sea-level location, seamlessly combining functionality and aesthetics.

Amidst debates on the relevance of high-density office towers in the post-pandemic era, Creative Crews and our client advocate for the enduring importance of social interaction in fostering teamwork and productivity. As the drawbacks of working from home become apparent, such as lack of personal space and blurred boundaries between work and life, we reaffirm our conviction that a proper working environment is still needed in today's society. Moreover, a higher-density workplace allows for the sharing of an efficient energy system in the building, compared to individual household energy consumption, similar to mass transportation. Together, people can achieve their team goals faster than working individually without communication, just like taking public transport instead of driving their own cars.

The workplace design seeks to entice people back to the office with a more welcoming environment, adapting to permanent shifts in workstyles post-pandemic. Integrating flexible spaces, exercise facilities, swimming pool, jogging track, and biophilic elements, it promotes a healthy and active lifestyle. Features like edible gardens and landscape trails for walking meetings, landscape steps for informal gatherings exemplify the innovative approach, setting a precedent for densification in Bangna that combines sustainability, wellness, and innovation in future workplaces.
