When I reach the end of the water, I sit and watch the clouds rise.

“晨起借朝阳天色漫步在幽幽山道中，前夜的细雨幻化成一模烟云环绕在深林之间，盘山而上。回瞰又如清澈的湾流若隐若现，其韵味气场好比笔墨的惊鸿一瞥。恰到好处，不造作也不张扬！”

At dawn, I strolled along the secluded mountain path, bathed in the glow of the rising sun. The fine rain of the previous night had transformed into a veil of mist, enveloping the deep woods as I climbed the winding mountain road. Looking back, it was like a clear bay, now and then disappearing from sight. Its charm and atmosphere were like a fleeting glimpse of a brushstroke. Just right, neither artificial nor ostentatious!

作为一个在售地产类改造项目，以往形成的特征已无法规避，甚至在格局上也会有或多或少负面的影响，但是在此基础上的升级改造同样也是一种挑战与尝试。既要有一致性又要改出反差。传统地产的设计思维已然无法满足。

As a real estate project for sale that involves renovation, the characteristics formed in the past cannot be avoided, and there may even be more or less negative impacts on the layout. However, upgrading and renovation based on this foundation is also a challenge and an attempt. It is necessary to maintain consistency while creating contrast. The traditional design thinking in real estate is no longer sufficient.

The insurmountable gap that must be crossed

项目位于南阳卧龙区，白河西岸。属于相对市区较偏的位置，并且由于此前产品的定位与疫情的影响，已经对产品销售产生巨大的冲击，所以产品转型与优化成为了开发商不得不做的选择。但是在建筑与户型都已既成事实的情况下，景观的破格提升便成为了为数不多的选择之一。

The project is located on the west bank of the Bai River in Wulong District, Nanyang. It is relatively far from the urban area. Moreover, due to the previous product positioning and the impact of the epidemic, it has had a huge impact on product sales. Therefore, product transformation and optimization have become an inevitable choice for the developer. However, with the building and unit types already set in stone, the unconventional improvement of the landscape has become one of the few options available.

将劣势转化为优势的一场战斗

A Battle to Transform Disadvantages into Advantages

由于前广场与售楼处已投入使用，而三月开始接触项目，六月一号需完成改造，因此设计的准确性就会直接影响到工程周期甚至是最终的呈现效果。

现状纵深50米，近4000平米的大广场、初代新中式建筑、原设计的景观格局以及甲方要求不能拆除的构筑基础，使得改造受到一定程度的局限。也正因为如此，OPC物象团队决定“化整为零，解构重塑。”并给予“得山一角”的总体思路。

Since the front square and the sales office have already been put into use, and the project was first contacted in March with the requirement to complete the renovation by June 1st, the accuracy of the design would directly affect the construction period and even the final presentation effect.

The current situation is a 50-meter-deep, nearly 4,000-square-meter large square, the initial new Chinese-style architecture, the original landscape layout design, and the requirement from the client that certain structures cannot be demolished, all of which impose certain limitations on the renovation. It is precisely for this reason that the OPC team decided to "break down the whole into parts, deconstruct and reconstruct," and proposed the overall concept of "capturing a corner of the mountain."

百里挑一，乱中定局。

“松”是中国古典园林植物的灵魂之一，并与“竹”“梅”并称“岁寒三友”。而业主方苗圃收集的近千棵“松”百于棵“梅”也毫无意外的成为了改造设计中“指定”的主角。

根据设计意图将前广场打碎为前院与后院，由拱桥链接，前场院主题为“松”为22颗，后院为“梅”12颗，（由于施工过程中的意外，“竹”被取消。）。松的特点在于造型各异，需因地制宜，在千棵松林之中选择22颗，并记录造型尺度，然后在现场靠想象来定位搭配，整个过程是用常规的工作流程无法做到的。从业主到施工方没有人会随意处置任意一颗树，设计师全程指挥、调配、随机应变。而设计风格的表达必须跳出风格和色系的限制，不仅要表达新的语言还需包容周遭环境。

Among a hundred, only one is chosen; in chaos, order is established. "Pine" is one of the souls of Chinese classical gardens and is known as one of the "Three Friends of Winter" along with "bamboo" and "plum". The nearly a thousand "pines" and over a hundred "plums" collected by the owner's nursery unsurprisingly became the "designated" main characters in the renovation design. According to the design intention, the front square was divided into a front yard and a back yard, connected by an arched bridge. The theme of the front yard is "pine", with 22 trees, and the back yard is "plum", with 12 trees. (Due to an accident during construction, "bamboo" was cancelled.) The distinctive feature of the pine trees lies in their diverse shapes, which require site-specific considerations. Among a thousand pine trees, 22 were selected, and their shapes and dimensions were recorded. Then, on-site, the positioning and arrangement were done based on imagination. This entire process cannot be achieved through conventional work procedures. Neither the owner nor the construction team would casually handle any of the trees. The designer was in charge throughout, directing, coordinating, and adapting flexibly. Moreover, the expression of the design style must transcend the constraints of style and color schemes, not only presenting a new language but also integrating with the surrounding environment.

材料的一劳永逸

The once-and-for-all materials

为了便于后期的维护打理，前后场材料的选择完全选用天然材料，尤其是后场的天然石皮，对于设计方、施工方、材料方都是首次用石皮完成双曲面铺贴，过程的经验尤其珍贵。

To facilitate maintenance and management in the future, all materials for both the front and back areas are made of natural materials. Especially for the natural stone skin in the back area, it is the first time for the design team, construction team and material provider to complete the double-curved surface tiling with stone skin. The experience gained during the process is particularly valuable.

十公分天然石皮的运用可以更好的还原自然的气息，随着时间的推移风吹雨打之后更显气质。

精心的设计与打磨，大力的投入只为交付一个百年工程，用自然来表达自然。从实用的角度出发，围绕意境的表达为园林增添文人的趣味。

The application of ten-centimeter natural stone skin can better restore the natural atmosphere. After the passage of time and the exposure to wind and rain, it becomes even more elegant. With meticulous design and polishing, and a large investment, we aim to deliver a century-old project, expressing nature through nature. Starting from a practical perspective and focusing on the expression of artistic conception, we add the charm of scholars to the garden.

简洁优雅的植物设计模式让一个小园子四季多变。乌桕，梅花，樱花形成的环形三层花瓣式种植手法，让乔木的色彩层层叠叠。下层栽植以常绿龟背灌木为基底，配合芒草的飘逸形成形式上的强烈对比，既有舒适的围合感又不会感到杂乱无序。

The simple and elegant plant design pattern makes a small garden change with the seasons. The planting method of forming a three-layer petal shape with the ring of the Chinese tallow, plum blossom and cherry blossom makes the colors of the trees layer upon layer. The lower layer is planted with evergreen turtleback shrubs as the base, and the flowing miscanthus grass forms a strong contrast in form, which not only gives a comfortable sense of enclosure but also avoids a sense of disorder.

这一次的实践拓展了人居景观的可能性，同时也是自然的全新演绎，它能够触发灵感，触动内心。这里不止是一个场所，也是永恒而隽永的画幅。它展现了设计的魅力，使人带入另一个时空。诗意与人共存，山林与城市共生。

This practice has expanded the possibilities of human settlement landscapes and is also a brand-new interpretation of nature. It can inspire and touch the heart. This place is not merely a site but also an eternal and timeless painting. It showcases the charm of design and takes people into another time and space. Poetry coexists with people, and mountains and forests coexist with the city.
