派园位于合肥市肥西中派片区内，作为安徽省最大的都市农园，项目通过对现有农田机理的保护和利用，重新构筑出一个以乡土植物和生产性农业景观为主的都市绿洲。

Paiyuan is located in the Zhongpai District of Feixi, Hefei. As the largest urban agricultural garden in Anhui Province, the project reconstructs an urban oasis primarily composed of native plants and productive agricultural landscapes by protecting and utilizing the existing agricultural mechanisms.

2022年春，接到项目的邀请，业主希望在派园的稻田间建造一系列由驿站，书房，农产品展销等组成的小型服务性建筑，从而串联起整个游客的参观游览路线。田间驿站项目则是位于园区的入口旁，为游客提供问询、休憩、观景及服务配套等功能。初识场地，“派园”已初见其形。站在驿站的设计场地上，田野的清风，从眼前飞舞而过的蝴蝶，刺激着人们的感官。

In the spring of 2022, we received an invitation for a project where the owner anticipated to construct a series of small service buildings—comprising stations, reading rooms, and agricultural product exhibitions—amidst the rice fields of Paiyuan, creating a connected route for visitors. This Butterfly Pavilion project is located next to the entrance of the park, providing functions such as information inquiries, rest areas, scenic viewing, and service support. Upon first encountering the site, the essence of "Paiyuan" was already apparent. Standing on the design site of the station, the gentle breeze from the fields and the butterflies dancing before my eyes stimulated the senses.

Dancing Butterflies

设计便以“蝶舞”作为设计理念。整个建筑沿着不规则的场地展开，保证建筑沿四周景观最大的展开面。建筑形态则模仿蝴蝶上下煽动的翅膀，通过造型上的上下舞动，创造出不同维度的户外观景空间。

The design adopts "Dancing Butterflies" as its guiding concept. The entire building unfolds along the irregular shape of the site, ensuring the largest possible exposure to the surrounding landscape. The architectural form mimics the flapping wings of a butterfly, creating various outdoor viewing spaces through its upward and downward movements in shape.

大台阶的引入则串联起高高低低的空间，引导人们在建筑的不同空间进行漫游。不同的大台阶面向各个不同的景观方向，同时结合绿植的设计，将周边良好的农业景观引入到建筑的第五立面，使建筑犹如从地面生长一般，充分融入农业景观之中。在梦中，充满动感的建筑造型，仿佛偏偏飞落与田间的彩蝶。

The introduction of large steps connects the varying heights of the spaces, guiding people to wander through the different areas of the building. Each set of steps faces a distinct landscape direction, and when combined with the design of greenery, they bring the surrounding agricultural scenery into the building's fifth facade. This design makes the building appear as if it grows from the ground, fully integrating with the agricultural landscape. In a dream, the dynamic architectural form seems to gracefully descend like colorful butterflies landing in the fields.

Life

项目建成后，络绎的人流赋予了建筑强大的生命力。这也正是设计之初我们的期许，而开放性便是我们设计的重点。

Once the project was completed, the continuous flow of people endowed the building with vibrant life. It was our expectation from the very beginning of the design, and openness has been a key focus of our design approach.

设计体块主要分为南北两个区域，中间通过架空的连桥进行连接。保持东西主要人流轴线畅通的同时，建筑的内凹空间也象征着建筑以开放的姿态欢迎着周边到达的人流。设计在建筑中创造了不同维度的屋顶活动平台空间，这些空间也通过不同方向的大台阶相互联系，使人流可以在任何的方向达到任何维度的空间。在建筑内外的畅游可以充分体验周边的田园风光与建筑相融合的乐趣。

The design consists of two main zones, separated by a central elevated bridge for connection. While ensuring a clear flow of people along the east-west axis, the building's recessed spaces symbolize its open posture in welcoming visitors from the surrounding area. The design creates multi-dimensional rooftop activity platforms within the building, which are interconnected through large steps in various directions, allowing people to access spaces from any direction. The seamless exploration both inside and outside the building enables a full experience of the joy of blending the surrounding pastoral scenery with the architecture.

蜕变

Transformation

蝴蝶驿站面积约500平米，共分为两层，主要驿站的服务功能位于首层，包括咖啡，游客服务，工艺品商店等。同时驿站也配置了公共卫生间，便民服务等服务功能。二层则主要以田园露台为主，配有稻田茶室的休闲功能。大面积的屋顶露台,为市民提供了多种活动以及和周边景观多维度互动的可能性。

The Butterfly Pavilion covers an area of approximately 500 square meters and is divided into two floors. The primary service functions of the station, including a café, visitor services, and a craft shop, are located on the ground floor. Additionally, the station is equipped with public restrooms and other convenient services. The second floor primarily features a pastoral terrace, complemented by a tea room overlooking the rice fields for leisure activities. The expansive rooftop terrace provides citizens with various activities and the potential for multi-dimensional interaction with the surrounding landscape.

在后期的运营中，政府决定保留部分的驿站服务功能的同时，植入爱情的主题。引入了囍咖，婚姻登记中心，婚纱摄影工作室等配套功能。新的功能的植入后被誉为当地“最美丽婚姻登记所”。

In the later stages of operation, the government decided to retain some of the station's service functions while incorporating a theme of love. This included the introduction of Xi Coffee, a marriage registration center, and a wedding photography studio, among other complementary functions. Following the addition of these new features, it has been hailed as the "Most Beautiful Marriage Registration Office" in the area.
