在开发供公众使用的空间之前，设计单位考虑了将该空间与Torrero住宅群合并的可能性，于是设计师将公共空间与城市的历史演变联系起来，突出了中世纪基督教长城的旧布局。
Prior to the development of an area intended for public use, the possibility of consolidating this space with the annexed building to Casa Torrero was considered, collected in a project phase by the property. Currently, it is possible to relate the emptying of this space to be used for public use with the historical evolution of the city, highlighting the old layout of the medieval Christian wall.
可以将该公共空间理解为街道的拓宽，为行人流向Miguel Servet街提供服务。平台与街道的坡度保持一致，铺装上与Miguel Servet街的Torrero住宅群底层铺装一致，可以将人流引进大楼里。
Being a space understood as a widening of the Avenue and serving the pedestrian flow towards Miguel Servet street and rolled into the Torrero Building, a platform is located coinciding with the current slope of Avenida del Pilar, the paving continues in the exterior space on the ground floor of the “Torrero” building that connects with Miguel Servet street, to give continuity to the proposed pedestrian flow.
在这个空间上，为了能够可视化现有的墙，也就是建筑的前地基，在较低的水平上生成了一个平面，模拟了土地的挖掘，以便能够看到建筑的地基，这是通过包括该空间的城市设施的斜坡的存在而形成的。
The party walls are understood as the limit of the area, in the case of the party wall with the building of Avenida del Pilar nº5, it is considered one more facade of said building that falls on the public space, therefore, it will be treated with the materials corresponding to the facades and a vertical landscaping will be installed on part of its surface. On the other hand, on the western edge, there is the courtyard of the building that falls on Calle Miguel Servet nº18, for which an edge element is arranged following the morphology of the slope.
