一、缘起

项目位于天津团泊新城东区仁爱翔宇公园内，紧邻公园主入口，与管理用房并排布置。原本只是一个简单和必备的配套功能建筑，但是建筑师不想怠慢任何一次建筑实践的机会，就开始思考如何实现对“厕所”这个功能的建筑形式的本源表达。

The project is located in Renai Yu Xiang Park, East District of Tuanbo New Town, Tianjin, close to the main entrance of the park and arranged side by side with the management room. Originally, it was just a simple and necessary supporting functional building, but the architect did not want to neglect any opportunity of architectural practice, so he began to think about how to realize the original expression of the architectural form with the function of "toilet".

二、思考

厕所建筑的本质功能，是人类生理“排泄释放”的场所。如果我们能够创造一个如厕这个人类“生理释放”活动的完美体验；进而追求在生理释放的同时，可以实现一点“心理释放”的空间体验和效果，是本设计研究和努力实现的目标。

The essential function of the lavatory building is the place of human physiology "excretion and release". If we can create a perfect experience of going to the toilet which is the demand of human beings for "physiological release"; further pursue physical release while providing a little "psychological release" space experience and effect is the goal of this design try to study and achieve.

三、目标

首先，独立、封闭的厕位，是生理释放对“私密性”的要求。其次，面朝大海，仰望天空是人类内心释放的最佳场景。我们想通过独立厕位的玻璃屋顶，达到人内心与天空和自然的沟通，实现内心情感的释放；在生理释放的同时，感受阳光，感受蓝天。

First, the toilets are Independent and enclosed which is because of the requirements of "privacy" for physiological release. Second, facing the sea and looking up at the sky is the best scene for the release of the human heart; we want to achieve the communication between the human heart and the sky and nature through the glass roof of the independent toilet seat, and realize the release of inner emotions; while the physiological release, feel the sun.

四、实践

1、建筑立面采用不用颜色涂料，男卫生间采用灰色涂料，象征男性的“粗犷”；女卫生间采用白色涂料，象征女性的“纯洁”,家庭卫生间位于男女卫生间之间，采用灰白涂料条纹相间处理，象征家庭由男人女人共同组成。男卫生间入口坚实，仅有玻璃平开门，象征男性“封闭”的内心世界，女卫生间入口为玻璃盒子体块，通透光亮，象征女性“开放”的内心世界。

1.The building facade uses no color paint. The men’s lavatory uses gray paint to symbolize the male’s "roughness"; the female lavatory uses white paint to symbolize the female’s "purity". The family lavatory is located between the male and female lavatory and is treated with stripes of gray and white paint. It symbolizes that the family is consists of men and women. The entrance to the men’s bathroom is solid, with only a glass flat door, which symbolizes the “closed” inner world of men, while the entrance of the women’s bathroom is a glass box, transparent and bright, symbolizing the “open” inner world of women.

2、内部装修，男卫生间采用天蓝色瓷砖，象征男性的“志向高远”；女卫生间采用草绿色瓷砖，象征女性的“生机盎然”,家庭卫生间采用米色瓷砖，象征家庭的“温馨幸福”。

2.In the interior decoration, men’s bathrooms use sky blue tiles, symbolizing men’s "high ambitions"; women’s bathrooms use grass-green tiles, symbolizing women’s "vibrancy", and family bathrooms use beige tiles, symbolizing the family’s "warm and happy".
