This 6.5 acre (26,304 m2) garden is an addition to the existing 5 acre (20,234 m2) Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA completed in 2003. The new garden is bisected by a 2-acre (8,094 m2) lagoon and Mississippi Meanders is one of 3 bridges that cross the lagoon to connect the sculpture garden’s walking paths. The glass bridge is 70’ long and 6’ wide (40 m2).
