在贵州省清镇市，蜿蜒的老马河畔漂浮着一朵洁白的“云朵”，在葱葱郁郁的绿树中时隐时现。这里是清镇湿地公园里的云朵艺术馆，近观步移景异，高透的弧形玻璃撑住流畅的云朵造型。

A Riverside Cloud in Qingzhen

In Qingzhen, Guizhou, a pure white "cloud" is floating by the meandering Laoma River, looming through the lush stands of green trees. It is the Cloud Art Museum in Qingzhen Wetland Park. Entering the museum that goes perfectly well with the surroundings, visitors may find that the view varies along the way. The curved see-through glass structure supports the smooth cloud-shaped roof.

建筑四周完全连续的玻璃面将室外多维度的景观渗透到视野内，使得山、水、景相互交融。整体建筑轻盈通透、色泽柔和，结合内敛的底座空间，更显艺术馆的气质灵动飘逸。

Visitors will be surprised at the visual feast of mountains, water, and scenery via the continuous floor-to-ceiling glass wall. The overall building is transparent and light, making its color and luster calming and soft. Along with the restrained base, the museum is full of vigor and elegance.

设计取意传统文化中的祥云符号，加以抽象提取，形成独有的云朵造型。流畅的建筑形体加深了和环境的结合度，面向老马河的角度细致推敲，避免周边山头的干扰，尽可能的使得视线穿透树影到达水面。

The museum, with the design inspired by and abstracted from the auspicious cloud symbol in traditional Chinese culture, combines nature with art, simplifies the cloud image and decides on the shape of the building. The flowing architectural lines enable the better integration of the buildings into the environment. Through detailed scrutiny, the museum is located in the position facing the Laoma River so that the sight can reach the water without being disturbed by the hilltops around.

建筑立面通过铝板和玻璃的组合，材质的特性产生强烈的反射与通透的对比，既是各成领域又互相映衬，使得建筑的质感细腻精致。同时，玻璃、水面的镜面反射与铝板的漫反射交汇共生，水面倒影建筑轮廓，玻璃反射树影与天空，形成一幅光影变幻的生动场景。

The building facade is composed of aluminum panels and glass, which forms a sharp contrast in materials. The contrast between the materials somewhat adds delicacy and fineness to the building. Through the reflection of the glass, water and aluminum panels, the shadows of trees through the glass, the building outline and the sky in the water all form a vivid picture of light and shadows.

贵州地势起伏多变，带来城市空间的丰富变化，考虑到山峦观景对艺术馆的俯视角度，注重第五立面的设计。规则的穿孔铝板结合不规律的灯光设计，让高于艺术馆的视线看来夜晚彷如璀璨繁星，更让人有置身于云上的感觉。

Guizhou Province is famous for its undulating terrain that enriches the city's spatial layout. The back row of buildings' view on the museum is taken into account in the design. The design of the fifth façade is emphasized as well. The regularly perforated aluminum sheets combined with the irregular light design make the place as bright as a starry night if viewed from a higher position, which gives people the illusion of being over the clouds.

创新性：山中有云，云间有山

一片萦绕在山间的云，山中有云，云间有山。设计寻找一种新的语言，将东方的意境以更加未来的方式呈现，创造出东方文化与现代主义相结合的全新体验。

Creativity: By the Mountain · On the Cloud

The museum is like a piece of white cloud looming through the mountain, becoming an inseparable part of the surroundings. The design team seeks a new language to present the artistic conception of the Orient in a more futuristic way and create a new experience of combining the oriental culture with modernism.

借山·踏云·造水，研学营将自然性与艺术感相结合，通过对云的简化精炼提取出母题，作为建筑的概念曲线。

With the ideas of "By the Mountain · On the Cloud · Making the Water", the Wetland Study Camp combines nature with art, simplifies the cloud image and decides on the shape of the building.

将景观连廊与主体建筑拉开，加宽间距形成入口静水庭院，丰富空间层次，顺应地形，制造叠水，丰富连廊空间，加强走廊与园区的交互。

The design team extends the distance between the corridor and the main building, which forms a quiet pond courtyard at the entrance. The whole space is thus separate and goes with the terrain, which enriches the corridor space and better enhances the interaction between the corridor and the wetland park.

设计挑战：山峦、河流与云朵的共生

项目设计之初，如何能在山河之间形成一所既能充分享有景观资源，又不会被周边鳞次栉比的建筑淹没的“小”艺术馆是思考的重点。未来在旁边的山头还会有坂茂设计的湿地博物馆，怎么让这两所关系紧密的建筑完美结合也是设计立意的另一维度。

Challenges: Coexistence of the Mountains, the River and the Cloud

At the beginning of project design, the focus was on how to build a "small" art museum between the mountains and the river, which makes full use of the landscape resources without being outshone by the surrounding buildings. In the future, a wetland museum designed by Shigeru Ban will be built on the top of the hill next to it, so how to make a perfect combination of these two closely related buildings is another aspect in determining the design concept.

为了不大肆破坏场地原有的环境，将艺术馆分为接待前区和研学营主体两个部分，接待前区采用流线型架空走廊的形式，引导人们在自然山水之间进入研学营，而主体建筑则通过材质的变化轻盈的矗立在山头，从河面往上看，更像那朵在山间的云。

To minimize damage to the original environment, the museum is divided into two sections: the reception hall in the front and the exhibition hall. The reception hall resorts to a streamlined overhead corridor, which guides visitors to the camp through mountains and waters. The exhibition hall sits in the mountain and looks lightweight due to changes of materials. It looks exactly like a cloud in the mountain if viewed from the river.

建筑温柔简约的流线造型展现出更宽广的包容性，洁白的云朵完全去除了地标建筑自有的张扬侵略感，创造出与山峦、河流共存的一片云。

The simple and soft streamlined shape increases the inclusiveness of the building. For instance, the pure white cloud is not aggressive, which makes it possible for its coexistence with the mountains and the river and future development around the area.

室内空间：坠入云端的梦幻感受

我们希望纯白色的空间给予人坠入云端的梦幻感受，波光粼粼的水景反射到天花板上，呈现出自然而又恬静的景象。并利用山体自然的坡度，在临河面也呈现出景观灰空间。

Indoor Space：A Dreamy Feeling of Being over the Clouds

Hopefully, the pure white space gives people a dreamy feeling of being over the clouds. The sparkling water reflects off the ceiling, creating a natural and serene view. Going with the terrain, a transition space is designed on the river-facing side.

室内空间天地墙均覆以纯白，并以双曲面锥形的圆形支柱进行支撑。曲面空间让建筑室内外更加柔和，并增强双曲线柱顶的视觉效果。

The indoor ceilings, floors and walls are all covered in pure white, with hyperboloid columns supporting the ceilings. The curved space enables a soft view of the interior and exterior of the building and enhances the visual effect of the hyperboloid pillars.

可持续性：适用于当地的立面选材

艺术馆除了通透的玻璃，主要选取了轻质的铝板，减少造型带来的建筑负荷，形成明快的立面效果，又能保证建筑外立面持久长新。这种耐腐蚀性好的材料运用对于贵阳地区酸雨多的自然条件又不失是一种更好的选择，建筑的可持续性更强。

Sustainability: Facade Materials Suitable for Local Conditions

In addition to see-through glass, light aluminum panels are mainly used to reduce the building load caused by the shape and ensure the bright and durable facade. This kind of material with good corrosion resistance is a better choice based on Guiyang's natural condition of heavy acid rain, making the building more sustainable.
