From the construction of a hospital and a shopping center in the city of Cananea, the need arose for a project that weaves both programs and, in turn, generates recreational infrastructure for the city's mining community.

该项目被认为是一个新的城市中心，通过景观处理和不同的方案将现有建筑物整合在一起。沙漠气候成为了特色旅行的前提，由于该地区的土壤类型不用维护，因此场地内的树林和湖泊在公园内起着绿洲的作用。

The project is conceived as a new city center that integrates existing buildings through landscape treatment and different programs. The desert climate of the area became a premise to generate tours with shadows and lakes that function as an oasis within the park, which are maintained by themselves thanks to the type of soil in the area.

公园内的活动由同一个交通主流线组织起来，并在整个项目中生成不同的路线。广场内有庭院空间、儿童游戏空间、开放式礼堂和曼努埃尔•穆尼奥斯（Manuel Muñoz）雕塑的区域；除此之外，它还作为与居民区的连接。

The activities inside the park are connected and contained by the same walker who works as a trotter and generates different routes throughout the project. The program has spaces for courts, games for children, an open auditorium and an area with Manuel Muñoz’s sculptures; Besides that, it also works as a connection to a residential area.

The use of materials from the region, allows the community to identify with its roots, which ensures that there is a sense of belonging to the project and that this, in turn, is a starting point for the growth of the city.
