CHELONA滨海公寓 景观设计

OPENBOX事务所被邀请为华欣的海滨公寓提供景观设计。项目Chelona被设计成一个周末的家，类似于希腊的一个休闲的小城镇，在与Agalio建筑工作室的紧密合作下，将建筑和景观概念无缝地融合为一体。

OPENBOX was approached by Sansiri to propose landscape design for a beachfront condominium in Huahin. Developed to be a weekend home, Chelona has been assigned to be resemblance of a relaxing, little town in Greece. In close collaboration with Agalio Studio, the design architect of the project, architecture and landscape concept has merged seamlessly into one.

该地块是典型的海滨地貌，狭窄的正面朝向海滩，非常长的地带延伸了十多倍的宽度连接到通路。在设计干预之前，场地主要被沙子覆盖，三分之一的土地已被完全生长的现有树木占据，这些树木长期经受着海风的侵袭，已经变成了雕塑的形态。

The site is a typical beachfront formation with a narrow frontage facing the beach and very long strip stretching over ten times the width to connect to the access road. The site was mainly covered in sand. One third of the land has been occupied by fully grown existing trees. All of them are local and have withstood sea wind for a long time and have turned into sculpture forms.

一般来说对于一个狭长的场地，面向海滩的一面只有少数的空间能直接看到海，其余的空间就必须依靠各种设计营造弥补景观的缺失。但项目即使在有限的白色到浅色的硬质景观、水景和自然植物颜色的色调上，也可以根据方向、线条、曲线和高度的不同，创造出不同的体验。

Typically for a long site with a narrow side facing the beach, only a few units have the direct sea view. The rest of the units would have to rely on variety of intense landscape creation to become the views. Even with limited palette of white to light color hardscape, water feature and natural plant colors, variation of experience could still be created, based on differences of directions, lines, curves and height.

除了符合设计主题外，项目最重要的任务是尽可能地保留现有的树木。OPENBOX的设计团队从记录所有的树木开始，经过筛选，在设计中提出了一些保护树木的优势：

1. 调整设计以适应现有树木的位置。在少数极端的情况下，调整建筑物的位置以适应现有的树木

2. 在现有树木冠径周围留出大量空间

3.  从施工第一天起就邀请植物专家一起协调

4. 在不损失可经济效率的前提下进行树木保护

Aside from the obvious thematic design, the most important task is to keep as many of the existing trees as possible. OPNBX team has begun by documenting all trees, going through selection process, and propose tree saving features in design such as:

1. Adjust the design to fit the existing tree locations, not the other way around. In a few extreme cases, positions of buildings are adjusted to fit in among the existing trees.

2. Leaving lots of space around existing balls,

3. Hiring a specialist to be on board since day one of construction,

4. All these has to be done without losing the efficiency of the salable.

因此项目保留了场地上的树木，而树木也回报了我们，从开盘的第一天起，项目就给人感觉非常 "茂盛 "和 "活泼"。

In this case, we considered ourselves very successful in saving the trees and they return the favor by making the project feel very “lush” and “alive” since the first day of opening.
